Spring is the season of NEW BEGINNINGS and is the perfect time to experience a drumming class at DRUMZ on Kerbey Lane! Drumming offers us the chance to be in community together in new ways, listening in a deeper and more conscious way to the voice inside, while honoring and listening to the voices and rhythms of each person in the circle! Being together in a spirit of cooperation and support, rather than competition, encourages us to open up and really SPEAK, through our drums, with confidence and with joy! No previous musical experience is necessary....if you have a heartbeat, you HAVE rhythm! Learning a new language with which to express ourselves and developing our

communication skills helps us create beautiful music and rhythms together in our classes. These skills which allow our circle to work harmoniously and as one collective whole with many powerful and unique individual parts, can also be tools we can carry over into our lives and our relationships,

creating deeper , healthier, more harmonious relationships within our families, friendships, communities, and ultimately, our world! These connections which open us up to our own spirits, to each other, and to the natural rhythms of our Universe, empower us to be more of who we are on the inside. Discovering our passion and a pathway for it's creative expression in the world and being authentically and powerfully who we ARE is really our greatest gift to the world right now.

SHERRY GINGRAS, Drumz owner and a hand drum teacher in the Austin Community since 1998, teaches from the heart and believes in the powerful energy of creativity,

connection, and compassion to change the world! She believes that music, our Universal language, can bring diverse people together in ways that nothing else can. We

become keenly aware of our common ground and the barriers we create around our differences melt away as we drum and play! Discovering ways to come together on behalf of our beloved Earth and all beings is true GRACE and our futured epends on it! Music has always provided a pathway to grace.
